For most shows, Lexi never would’ve stepped forward and given insight into her thoughts and feelings. Not once does she say thank you to the wonderfully charming, pure, innocent teen who is one of the only characters on the show that's not beyond redemption. She did not hold back in exposing the truth about her peers, including her own sister Cassie (Sydney Sweeney), whose relationship with the toxic Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi) came crashing down as a. Whereas Cassies interactions are always very jealous, she likes tearing down Lexi to make herself feel better and the scenes where she body shames Lexi was so uncomfortable to. Maddy preps up Lexi as beautiful by doing her makeup and telling her to believe in herself and have confidence. And as if not getting her own episode wasn't awful enough, Rue is a sh*tty friend to Lexi too. Its sad that Lexi sees Maddy as a more of a big sister. But that doesn't stop Lexi from being a good friend to Rue even in the current timeline of the show she pees in a plastic cup for Rue whenever the latter needs to pass her drug test, and is the only one who promptly goes to check up on her in the school washroom, after Rue rushes out of the classroom, reeling under withdrawal symptoms.
